Observance Of Kashmir Solidarity Day to Protest The Recent Killings Of Innocent Kashmiris At 12:30 Hours on 6th April 2018 At Embassy Of Pakistan, Tunis

The Indian occupied forces in Kashmir have killed at least 20 Kashmiri youths on 1st April, 2018, 10 Kashmiris sustained eye injuries while more than 200 were injured.

In a pre-dawn crackdown by a joint team of the Indian Army, J&K Police and CRPF (Central Reserve Police Force), Indian Occupation Forces embarked on a mindless killing spree against innocent Kashmiris on trumped up charges of terrorism.

The Indian occupied forces carried out the so called “Encounters” in Shopian and Anantnag districts in South Kashmir. The Indian police used live fire, pellet guns and tear gas to disperse unarmed protesters. Curfew is imposed and Internet Service suspended in an attempt to silence protestors from being heard, especially by the international community.

Schools in the Valley have been closed since April 2, 2018. Kashmiri leadership has been placed under house detention or arrested.

India continues to massacre innocent Kashmiris on baseless pretexts. India also continues to deny access to the fact finding mission of the OHCHR and the IPHRC to ascertain ground realities in IoK.

It is the responsibility of the international community, particularly the Permanent Member of UN Security Council, to fulfill their commitments towards the people of Jammu & Kashmir under the UNSC resolutions. Silence of the international community emboldens India to use brutal force and continue with its repressing policy with impunity in an attempt to subjugate Kashmiris.

You are requested to join us in observation of the Solidarity Day at the Embassy of Pakistan, Tunis to protest the Indian atrocities in Jammu & Kashmir.
