Welcome to the website of the Embassy of Islamic Republic of Pakistan in Tunis.
It is a great honor to be the Ambassador of Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the Republic of Tunisia. Pakistan and Tunisia are trusted friends. Since the establishment of diplomatic relations with the Republic of Tunisia in 1957, the successive governments in Pakistan have been striving to enhance cooperation with Tunisia in various fronts, extending from political and economic to social and culture realms, and initiating developmental cooperation and people-to-people exchanges. The two countries share views on important global and regional issues of mutual concerns.

Kashmir Black Day was observed at the Pakistan Embassy. 27th October 1947 was the day, when the Indian occupation forces landed in Srinagar, and the illegal occupation of the territory of Jammu and Kashmir against the people’s aspirations and in total disregard to the Indian Independence Act and Partition Plan commenced. The Kashmiris consider this day as the darkest day in the history of Jammu and Kashmir and observe it as a Black Day. People of Pakistan also observe this day in solidarity with the people of Kashmir.
Famous Sufi singer from Pakistan, Mr. Faiz Ali Faiz performed at Carthage Music Festival, Tunis on 21 October 2019.
A 10 member delegation composed of the participants of National School of Public Policy (NSPP) Lahore, visited Tunisia from 21-25 October 2019. The delegation met various top ranking Tunisian officials including at the Office of the Prime Minister.
Second meeting of Pakistan-Tunisia Joint Working Group on Textile was held in Islamabad, Pakistan on 2-3 October 2019.

International Rahmatulil Aalmin Conference will be held in Islamabad, Pakistan on 12th Rabi ul Awwal (10 November 2019) . On the invitation of Federal Minister for Religious Affairs and Inter-faith Harmony Pir Noor ul Haq, President Islamic World Federation of Sufiism, Tunisia, Dr. Mazin Taher Cherif will represent Tunisia in the Conference.
